John Pearson is a data analyst in Dallas, Texas, who enjoys writing in his free time.  A teacher for 13 years, he wrote Learn Me Good after his baptism-by-fire first year in the Dallas Independent School District.

He won the Jeopardy! Teachers Tournament in 2013 and participated in the 2014 Tournament of Champions.  He also won his game in the inaugural season of Trivial Pursuit in 2024.

He enjoys spending time with his wife, Tamara, and his teenage son, Andrew.  He is always open to appearing in an MCU movie.
